Therapist-Guided ICBT for PSP: The PSP Wellbeing Course by PSPNET

FREE to PSP in ON, NS, NB, PEI, QC, & SK. The therapist-guided PSP Wellbeing provides PSP with effective strategies for managing various mental health concerns, such as depression, low mood, anxiety, worry, stress, and posttraumatic stress injuries. The course is also appropriate for PSP interested in building resilience and maintaining longer term wellbeing.

Offers the following:

PSP Tailored: Designed with and for PSP, this course includes content and stories relevant to the needs of PSP.

Accessible: Convenient and flexible access to online materials for up to 52 weeks, accommodating the demanding schedules of PSP. 

Confidential: Prioritizes clients’ confidentiality via robust encryption and data protection practices.

Comprehensive: Includes 5 easy-to-read lessons to help PSP manage symptoms including depression, low mood, anxiety, worry, stress and posttraumatic stress injuries. PSP also have access to additional resources on diverse topics of relevance to PSP, such as resources on managing sleep concerns, relationship challenges, anger, and motivation.

Therapist-Guided: Optional support is available from registered therapists trained to deliver ICBT to PSP. Most PSP connect with their assigned therapist weekly via secure messaging or phone calls for 8 to 16 weeks. Research shows that this method of support is convenient for PSP and supported by research.
